Starting today, you can visit Warsaw… in the world of Fortnite! Following the success of the City of Wonders map, it is time for a brand-new adventure. This time, players from around the globe will set off on the trail of the legendary Basilisk in the new experience: “The Basilisk: Roguelike Hunt in Warsaw”.
In this action-packed game mode, the Basilisk escapes from the mysterious Department of Wonders and threatens the entire city. The players’ mission is to track down the beast before it takes control of Warsaw.

The new map draws inspiration once again from the city of Warsaw – its iconic landmarks, urban legends, and prominent historical figures. The dynamic gameplay combines action, cooperation, and city exploration in a brand new way.

Your goal is to hunt down the Basilisk before it destroys the city. Time is running out, and along the way, a challenging adventure, spectacular locations, and plenty of surprises await.
During your mission, you will visit places inspired by Warsaw’s most recognizable spots. Get ready to:
- chase the Basilisk through the streets of the Old Town,
- explore the Royal Łazienki Park and the modern city center,
- ride hoverboards floating over the Vistula River,
- fight the final battle in interiors inspired by the Main Building of Warsaw University of Technology,
- meet Marie Curie, who will equip you with futuristic gadgets to help you with your mission,
- collect musical power-ups from Frédéric Chopin to boost your character’s abilities,
- discover and gather illustrations by Tytus Brzozowski, which convey riddles, trivia, and extra challenges.
Every element of the map features real locations, figures, and legends intertwined with the history of Warsaw. As a result, this virtual adventure can serve as an inspiration to explore the city in real life – strolling through its streets and visiting the sites that inspired the game’s creators.
