We will process your personal data in order to register you for the Warsaw Day event at World Expo 2025 in Osaka. Your personal data will not be subject to automated decision making, including profiling.
Who administers your data?
- The administrator of your personal data is Stołeczne Biuro Turystyki (Warsaw Tourism Office), with its registered office at Plac Defilad 1, Warsaw (00-901).
- Questions concerning the manner and scope of processing of your data, as well as your rights, will be answered by the Data Protection Officer at the Warsaw Tourism Office. Please send them to: iod@go2warsaw.pl
Why is your data being processed?
- Your personal information is processed on the basis of your consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR . Providing data such as name, surname, telephone number and e-mail address is necessary to register and participate in the above-mentioned event. Failure to provide them will prevent you from registering for the event.
- For promotion of the event—on the basis of our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
- For defending against claims and asserting our rights—on the basis of our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
How long will your data be stored?
- The data will be stored for the period necessary to organise the event and for its duration.
- In the case of data processed on the basis of our legitimate interests—until the purpose of processing is achieved or until you file an objection.
Who can have access to your data?
- The recipients of your personal data may be: entities providing IT services to the Administrator and other entities to whom the Administrator will provide personal data on the basis of legal provisions.
Data transmission
- Your data may be transferred between Japan and Poland in connection with the organisation of the event in which you will participate. The European Union and Japan have mutually recognised an equivalent level of personal data protection (adequacy decision of 23 January 2019).
What rights do you have in relation to the processing of your data?
- Access to the content of your personal data and its correction, rectification, and limitation of its processing.
- Transfer of personal data and the right to its erasure.
- Withdrawal of consent at any time—in relation to data processed on the consent’s basis.
- To object to the processing of personal data
- To file a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Personal Data Protection Office, ul. 2 Stawki, 00-193 Warszawa).
- To file a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office in Poland (Personal Data Protection Office, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw) or to the competent data protection authority in Japan in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI).
