The Ulimate Warsaw Food Tour
When people think of “Poland,” what comes to mind? Hopefully images of pierogi and kielbasa. So where are the best places that locals enjoy going to? I’ll take you on a tour that hits what a tourist needs for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Don’t worry, I’ll throw in dessert too! So let’s start in Muranów, the historic Jewish district and go for some bagels, Challah, and coffee at Charlotte Menorah. We’ll see some of the original buildings that survived the war. Then we’ll head further north into the Muranów district to have lunch in a place that travel vloggers and locals alike love to visit. If you come to Poland, you have to try (at least once) a Milk Bar. Enjoy lunch…for half the price…at Gdański Bar Mleczny, and try some traditional Polish flavors that date back to the communist period. Hopefully you’re not full, because we need to go to our next location and finish up with dinner in the Old Town. It’s time to enjoy a hearty meal around one of the most beautiful palaces in Poland. We’ll sit down at a Polish restaurant called Pyzy Flaki Gorące! that overlooks the historic old town for a taste of real Poland. They serve things you’ve never heard of but are incredibly delicious. If you still have room, we’ll need to walk down Nowy Świat, on the royal route to a special place. We’ll go to Chmielna St. for Pączki at Cukiernia Pawłowicz. It’s one of the best places in the city year round for this infamous Polish treat. This tour is suitable for those who have a few hours before their next flight, and can squeeze in a lot of sights in a short amount of time.
