Body/Mind 2026 – The International Festival of Dance and Performance Arts
The program for the twenty-sixth edition will include one of the most important works in the history of contemporary choreography – “Rosas danst Rosas” (1983) by Anna Teresa De Keersmaeker, considered a feminist manifesto and a milestone in postmodern dance. Alesandra Seutin from Senegal and Stephanie Thiersch from Germany will present “Until The Beginnings,” a moving performance with live music about community, hospitality, and the search for home in the modern world. Slovenian visual artist Olja Grubić will invite the audience to the participatory performance ” To Our Delight,” about the destruction and rebuilding of the world, and Kasia Wolińska will premiere her new solo, “Phoenix.Sun,” a hypnotic choreography about fire, transformation, and rebirth. The program also includes a series of free accompanying events, details of which will be available soon.
