Warsawpolis Guide
La aplicación WARSAWPOLIS GUIDE es una guía virtual completa que te hará conocer los lugares y las atracciones turísticas más interesantes de la metrópoli de Varsovia y te animará a explorar la región de manera creativa.
En nuestra aplicación encontrarás:
- Atracciones turísticas de Varsovia y sus 21 municipios circundantes: las atracciones turísticas tanto más visitadas como las poco conocidas de Varsovia, Czosnów, Góra Kalwaria, Halinów, Karczew, Kobyłka, Konstancin-Jeziorna, Legionowo, Lesznowola, Marki, Milanówek, Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, Otwock, Podkowa Leśna, Pruszków, Radzymin, Stare Babice, Sulejówek, Wołomin, Ząbki, Zielonka y Żyrardów.
- Rutas turísticas: originales rutas temáticas con elementos interactivos que ofrecen las nuevas tecnologías: realidad aumentada AR, guías animadas en algunas rutas, por ejemplo, un alce, el rey Stanisław August Poniatowski, vistas panorámicas y otros medios audiovisuales relacionados con un lugar determinado.
- Lugares turísticos: casi 800 sitios de diferente tipo, por ejemplo, monumentos, áreas verdes, instituciones culturales, centros comerciales.
- Mapas: cada ruta y lugar de interés se muestran en el mapa con una línea o un ícono.
- Planificador: te permite planear la visita de acuerdo con tus preferencias y criterios personales.
- Notificaciones push: proporcionan información sobre los eventos actuales en Varsovia y los municipios circundantes.
- Postal electrónica: permite crear una postal virtual personalizada y enviarla a la persona seleccionada.
La aplicación está disponible en nueve idiomas y cumple con los requisitos de WCAG 2.1. Además, las descripciones de los lugares turísticos están disponibles en forma de audiodescripción.

The project is implemented as part of Integrated Territorial Investments, the leader of which is the Capital City of Warsaw and the partners of 25 communes:Czosnów, Góra Kalwaria, Halinów, Izabelin, Karczew, Kobyłka, Konstancin-Jeziorna, Legionowo, Lesznowola, Marki, Milanówek, Nieporęt, Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, Otwock, Piastów, Podkowa Leśna, Pruszków, Radzymin, Stare Babice, Sulejówek, Wieliszew, Wołomin, Ząbki, Zielonka, Żyrardów.
Main goal of the project: The main goal of the project is to improve the quality of life of residents and visitors, including tourists, by providing a package of e-services facilitating multi-level interaction with municipalities and the use of public services using mobile technologies.
Thematic objectives:
- Increasing the availability of public spaces and public services in the WOF area;
- Making the WOF cultural and tourist offer more attractive and accessible;
- Preparation for the implementation (examination of needs, selection of technology) of a tool for planning travel and moving around the WOF area by public transport;
- Providing an e-control tool in the form of a system that will improve the control of parking space fees;
- Increasing the awareness of institutions and individuals about the air quality in the WOF area.
The scope of the project covers 5 thematic areas:
E-accessibility – implementation of a micro-navigation and contextual information system, which is intended to facilitate movement in public spaces, including inside buildings, and to increase the availability of information and improve the handling of matters in public offices, in particular for people with visual impairments.
E-tourism – creating a virtual, personalized, mobile guide for tourists and residents, promoting the tourist and cultural offer of municipalities, combined with contextual information, elements of augmented reality and gamification (e.g. interactive sightseeing paths, city games).
E-transport – preparation for the implementation (analysis of needs, selection of technology) of a tool for planning travel and moving around the WOF area by public transport, in the form of an smart mobile application based on real-time data, flexibly reacting to changes and having a contextual information module.
E-parking – creation of the SPPN e-control system, which will strengthen control services and optimize control, which will significantly increase its effectiveness and, consequently, improve the deteriorating parking situation in Warsaw and help improve air quality.
E-environment – creation of a system for collecting, processing and presenting data on environmental parameters in the area of air quality in real time.
