Midnight Concert | Klasyka w Koszykach – “The Other Wieniawski”

Celebrate the 10th anniversary of Hala Koszyki and the opening of the 10th edition of Midnight Concerts | Klasyka na Koszykach.

This time, we invite you to a special piano recital by Zofia Łałak, taking place on 20 October at 8:00 PM.

“The Other Wieniawski” is a project dedicated to bringing the music of Józef Wieniawski back into the spotlight. An outstanding pianist, composer and educator, his legacy remained outside the mainstream concert repertoire for many years. During the recital, we will hear his music and, through a short multimedia presentation, discover more about the artist’s extraordinary life, his work and the European context of his compositions . It will be an evening devoted to music that deserves to be rediscovered, and to one of the lesser-known yet fascinating Polish composers of the 19th century
