Dear Visitors
We are glad to welcome you to the 4th and final main meeting of COST Action ML4NGP in Warsaw – a vibrant European capital, where business, science, history, and nature come together.
Warsaw is a city of contrasts and diversity. Modern architecture rises beside beautifully restored historic streets in the UNESCO-listed Old Town. It is also the birthplace of the two-time Nobel Prize laureate Maria Skłodowska-Curie, whose legacy continues to inspire generations of scientists. Why not visit the museum located in her birthplace?
Today, the city is home to over 70 universities, three royal residences, outstanding museums, and extensive green spaces. Along the sandy beaches of the Vistula River – ranked by National Geographic among the world’s most beautiful urban beaches – and the lively riverside boulevards, you will find the perfect setting to relax after a day of stimulating discussions.
For panoramic views, visit the observation decks of Varso Tower, the tallest building in the European Union, or the iconic Palace of Culture and Science. Explore world-class institutions such as the Museum of Polish History, the Warsaw Uprising Museum, the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews, or the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw.
Be sure to experience Warsaw’s diverse culinary scene – from traditional Polish dishes like pierogi (Polish dumplings), pyzy (potato dumplings), tripe soup, żurek or steak tartare, to vibrant international cuisine served in beautifully revitalized spaces like Koneser Praga Centre, Elektrownia Powiśle, Warsaw Breweries, or Hala Koszyki.
We invite you to discover the energy, culture, and unique atmosphere of Poland’s capital!
